Lillian "Lilly" Nelson is the stylist and wig maker behind Press N Pose Beauty. With her 6+ years of experience in being of licensed cosmetologist, her impressive portfolio includes serving as a featured beauty stylist for New York Fashion Week, having her work published in numerous magazines, and styling for editorial photography.

In 2014, she earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from NC A&T. After spending a few years exploring different career paths, she decided to follow her passion for beauty and enrolled in cosmetology school. Already a skilled wigmaker (10 years and counting), obtaining her cosmetology license allowed her to expand her expertise and become a well-rounded beauty professional.

Upon graduating, she worked in a salon for three years before taking the leap to open her own salon suite, originally named Lilly Da Vinci Hair Studio in Greensboro, NC.

 

After a year, she relocated to Raleigh, NC, rebranding her business as Press N Pose Beauty Studio—a name that reflects her love for both hairstyling and photography. Currently her goal as a stylist is to create an elevated beauty experience while also helping to reach a client's healthy hair goals.

 

Beyond her career, she enjoys being a devoted dog mom, traveling, discovering new restaurants, and indulging in a bit of retail therapy.
